As part of the requirements of receiving a competent mark for a unit, your Trainer may be required to complete a set of observations. These observations are a demonstration of your ability to complete the key performance criteria established by the Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment.
Your Trainer will liaise with you on when you will be required to demonstrate these observations and what supporting material or preparation work you may be required to complete.
Observations can be found within each Unit Timeline. If there is no Observation listed, then it is not a requirement of the unit. You can access observation by either:
- Clicking on the Observation tab in the top banner.
- Scrolling through the navigation bar at the bottom of the page.
- Using the arrows to scroll through the tiles in the middle of the page.
To open the unit’s Observations, simply click on the Go button:
From this screen, you will be able to see what criteria you are required to demonstrate, and what results and feedback you have received from your Trainer.
