How to Submit Your Assessment

The Student Assessment Guide provides a comprehensive overview of the requirements, including what you'll be asked to do and how your performance will be evaluated.

To complete your assessment, it is important that you first read through the assessment message that appears when you first open the assessment, as well as any supporting files provided, like the Student Assessment Guide.

Picture7-4All of this information will give you an overview of the requirements of the assessment and what you will be asked to do. Once you have an understanding of what you need to do, open the assessment in the Portal:

  1. Read the assessment question.
  2. Provide your answer, ensuring you have addressed all of the requirements.
  3. Click on Save & Next to save your answer and move on to the next question.

Once you have answered all questions, you will see a Submit My Assessment button.

If you see a number under this button, this means there are unsaved answers in your assessment. You will need to fix these up before you are able to submit.  

To determine which questions, you need to fix click on the Go to question drop-down list. Look for any questions with the word (unsaved) at the end.

Click on the question and then save your answers. Repeat this for all questions that show as (unsaved)

Upon submitting your assessment, if you answered any Selection, Multiple Choice or True/False questions incorrectly, you will be asked to review the questions again before you can submit your assessment to your Trainer for marking.  

A message similar to the one below will appear:

Click on the Re-visit Skipped and Incorrect Answers button to open your assessment and resubmit your responses.  

You may be asked to complete the question again or respond to a new short-answer question instead. Once you have completed these questions, you will be able to resubmit your assessment.

Once completed, your Trainer will be notified that you have submitted your assessment. Your assessment status will change to TBM – To Be Marked. Your Trainer will review and mark your assessment.
