      Accessing your class (Comprehensive)

      Students who log in to the IVET Portal land on their personalized Dashboard, serving as both their course Homepage and Central Hub for progress tracking and learning activities.

      Once logged into the IVET Portal, you will be taken to your Dashboard. This is your Homepage and the starting point for completing your course.  

      On your Dashboard, you will see all your classes listed. Under each class name, you will also see any outstanding assessment resubmissions required.

      Click on the Go button to access a class.

      Your Class Dashboard is made up of two key areas:

        1. Your notifications and profile: This area is where you can find notifications from IVET, access your class chatroom, and view and edit your Account Settings.
        2. Your course content: This is where you will access your course materials and complete your assessments. Active units will appear at the top of the list, ensuring you can easily see what you need to be working on. Picture2-4
       

      The Notification Bell will show any new notifications you have from the Portal or your classes. You can click on any of the notifications to view further details.

      The message icon takes you to your classroom chats. It will indicate any new messages with a pink bubble. You can chat with your Trainer one-on-one, or with your entire class.  

      Click on the New Chat button, or on any of the groups or Trainers listed to start a new chat.

      Your chat history is saved, and you can view your messages at any point throughout your course progress.

      The profile icon will take you to your Account Settings page. You can update your password, edit your Enrolment Details, view your Course Progress and access IVET Training Support Pages.
